Looking for a Recommendation?
I am happy to write letters of recommendation for students who have taken my courses, worked with me as advisees, or collaborated with me on research. Please allow at least two weeks’ notice for the completion of a letter. I reserve the right to decline requests.
If you would like to request a letter of recommendation, please follow the steps below. You are also welcome to email me in advance to confirm my availability and willingness to write on your behalf.

Please download and complete the Reference Letter Authorization Form.
In accordance with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the University of Oklahoma does not permit access to or release of educational records or personally identifiable information without a student’s written consent. Exceptions include a student’s right to review their own records and authorized disclosures to government agencies for audit or evaluation of state and federally funded programs.
As a result, I cannot include details about courses you took with me, your academic performance, or related information in a letter of recommendation without your explicit written permission.

Resume or CV
Personal statement or statement of purpose (if applicable)
Unofficial transcript (optional)
Any relevant application materials or prompts

Once you have completed gathered all materials, please email them to me in one email. This helps ensure I have the information needed to write a strong and timely letter.
Be sure to send your request at least two weeks before your earliest deadline.
